We are on the lookout for a Graphic Designer to join us at our TUI UK Head Office. Working within the Content Department and collaborating with the Partnership Marketing team, you will bring your passion for design excellence to our Tourist Board and Partnership communications. ABOUT THE JOB


  • You will be working with our many Tourists Board partners as well as global brands such as Disney and Universal.
  • With a keen eye for detail and nuanced understanding of the TUI brands, you will bring our Partnership creative to life on our digital and print platforms.
  • Bring your entrepreneurial zest to the job, pitching ideas to help our customers find their ideal holiday in the perfect destination.
  • A natural collaborator, you will be working side-by-side with your colleagues in Partnership Marketing to plan and execute projects as well ‘always on’ communications.
  • You will team up with your editorial partners to craft effective content for our target customers.
  • You have a UX mindset – ideating, wireframing and optimising creative are core skills.
  • You will work closely with Content Strategy and Delivery teams in applying data and research in the quest for effective creative.
  • This role supports our web experiences, our brochures and magazine both in print and digital platforms, our digital advertising, and social media output.

  • Create finished delivery of design projects and assets, art directing other content creators when required
  • Works closely with SEO to develop creative that performs to expectations on target web browsers
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and UX colleagues throughout the design process to identify and incorporate feedback appropriately
  • Maintains stakeholder engagement and buy in both project lifecycle and BAU ‘always-on’ activity
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and other UI (User Interface) design platforms such as Sketch, In.Vision, and Ceros

Job Introduction

We are looking for a talented Junior Designer with excellent infographic skills to join our fast-paced daily news design team at BBC News. We’re looking to evolve our digital editorial design using information graphics and an evolving range of static and interactive visual journalism.

You’ll be contributing and shaping how we tell stories digitally for our readers, working on daily infographics, maps and illustration approach, and collaborating with designers and journalists to create new or better ways to tell our stories visually.


Main Responsibilities
  • Create engaging information graphics that deliver a clear narrative to tight daily news deadlines.
  • Assist in developing and exploring new ways of presenting stories on our digital platforms.
  • Maintain the highest of standards in design, whilst working to very tight deadlines.
  • Visually communicate complex subject matter concisely.
  • Translate raw data into engaging pieces of graphic journalism.

  • Describing your concepts in detail for clients and writing thorough briefs for editors, motion graphic artists and graphic designers to create
  • Neatly formatting your ideas following an established convention

Recruitment process

The first step of the interview is a call (60 minutes via Zoom) with our Video Managers, Nina and Ciara. During the meeting, they get to know you a bit better and try to understand if you’d be a good fit for the role, and at the same time answer all your questions - prepare the list with all questions.

If the interview goes well, we will invite you to the final interview with Louise, Creative Director - shouldn't take more than 45 min (Zoom call).
